Julie Benzie is a Board Certified Registered Nurse Anethetist who practices all types of Anesthesia and specializes in Aesthetics and Cosmetic Injections. She has been practicing Anesthesia for more than 15 years and is currently the Chief of the Anesthesia Department at Elmore Medical Center in Mountain Home, Idaho.
Julie attended Boise State University and the U.S Army Graduate Program in Anesthesia Nursing affiliated with The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston where she graduated with honors and was elected to Sigma Theta Tau National, The Nursing Honor Society.
She recently became the Medical Director for The Spa on the Boulavard in Mountain Home, Idaho where she will practice as a Cosmetic Injection Specialist and offer top of the line prescriptive skin care and make-up available in the United States. Since taking this position, Julie has studied under many of the world’s leading specialists in Aesthetic Medicine, including Dr. Sam Assasa in Beverly Hills, California, and Dr. Sharon McQuillian and Dr. Mark Baily who both studied under Drs. Jean and Alastair Carruthers, who pioneered BOTOX® Cosmetic.
Julie has Certifications of Training and level 4 ACCME Accreditations in the safety and use of prescriptive medical/cosmetic devices and products including, but not limited to, the science and applications of BOTOX® Cosmetic, dermal fillers for soft tissue contour corrections, and the science and clinical application of chemical peels.
Julie is a member in good standing of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA), The American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM), The American Association of Aesthetics Medicine and Surgery (AAAMS), The American Academy of Medical Aesthetics Professionals (AAMEP), and most notably Julie is the first and only Advanced Practice Nurse granted membership to the International Association of Physicians of Aesthetics Medicine (IAPAM).
